I absolutely love these pictures! Any or all of them would make wonderful cards, or desktop pics or pics for a chapter in the book you are going to write. Your site is the first one I look at in the mornings while I drink my coffee. It amazes me how you conquer each day with love.

Oh my, I laughed so hard I can hardly see to type this. That is TOO funny! I sure did need to laugh. And I think I am going to keep coming back to laugh some more. I almost lost my ram today, so I was really sad but this sure did help lift my spirits. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful new home and farm with all of us. I look forward to seeing what else you have done every morning with a nice cup of coffee.

I’m with Darlene, I would buy them also. I still have the duck photo you took in my office on the desk. One day I will have some I have to feed and gather eggs from also. I wish you had ducks again. Every time I see your lonesome goose I think you need more.

I love these pics and your labels for them, it is perfect! And it leads me to a serious question. I have a puppy, she was rescued off the street. She has been eating my adult dog’s food. The vet said it would be better for her to have puppy food. I have tried two puppy foods, obviously much too rich for her, they make her have really stinky too soft poop. I was able to give the first one away. Now I have the other one, she can’t eat it, but it has chicken for the first ingredient. Dare I give this to my chickens? I give them chicken food in the morning and a snack in the afternoon, and they free range all day. I would add a cup or so in the afternoon snack. O, and they get a quart of goat milk in mid morning.

Jan, chickens will eat chicken….LOL. I don’t think it hurts them. It bothers us more than it bothers them.

What cute pictures and captions. We got started again with chickens in October. Just 5 “girls”, but they are now a very important part of the family. Can’t beat the taste of fresh eggs, straight from the coop.
