Despite the fact that I’m still just trying to recover from the retreat that ended last week, another one is coming this weekend. Potpourri is on the agenda (among many other things) so I was out for a walk yesterday to see what was available right now around here.
This is the time of year that Nature starts drying out potpourri for us. Place in a baggie, add a few drops of scent, close up and wait a few days, then pop your pretties in a bowl to make your house smell good. Go out and pick you some!

Do you add essential oils? The scent of honeysuckle is fading fast here!

Yes, you can add scent–that’s why keep it in a baggie for a few days, to let the scent get into the potpourri mixture.
