An Unexpected Event

Pink and blue:

I saw this amazing, beautiful blue-pink-blue sky the other night and raced for my camera. The sky changes so quickly. I have seen an amazing sky over the hills before then waited a few minutes too long–and had it go dark or gray on me. But then it took me a couple days to post this photo because I’ve been so busy.

I have EVEN missed some Daily Farm posts lately. Daily Farm means DAILY farm. This page on my site, above all, is updated DAILY.

Please bear with me.

There are things going on right now and I can’t take pictures.

There are things going on right now and I can’t tell you.

There are things going on and I am sad and happy and worn out and rejuvenated. There are things going on that are unexpected and yet known, unanticipated yet inevitable. Bad yet good. In the end–good.

Please bear with me. For the next weeks, especially, as posting may be even lighter as I complete preparations. I have news and so much to show you and tell you, but I can’t just yet. November will be a wild ride. Please keep coming–because one day, within the next few weeks, I will be able to tell you. And show you. And when it’s all over, I will be back to my regular annoyingly incessant posting schedule. (I promise!)

In every ending is a new beginning. Thank you for being here.

I’m not sure whether I should be scared or excited, sad or hopeful. I’m going with the excited and hopeful. Whatever is going on, please know that we’re always here, even if I don’t post comments as often as I should. Sending hope, love and positive thought, vibes and prayers to you. I’ll be checking every day, waiting until you can share your news.

Still with you, no matter what or how long. Just know your friends are here to help–help console or celebrate–or both!

  7. STracer says:

OK! So somebody else noticed that sky too. I wasn’t crazy (at that moment) after all. My perspective was a bit different though. I noticed it when I opened the door and the whole world seemed to have gone orange. I went outside and everything was sort of “antiqued” looking. Then after a few minutes I could see blue sky moving in from the west. Really wild looking. FabHub and his brother were in a garage working on a vehicle so didn’t see it, but the dogs and I stood and gazed for a while.
Can’t wait to see what project you have going on – the most intriguing part is WHY you can’t take pictures. You aren’t usually shy about the in progress photos. Looking forward to the results!

I figured something was up from your relative silence. I have my guess of course – I expect many do, and there are probably as many guesses as there are readers. Will wait for your reveal to see how close my thoughts come to your reality. Whatever it is, you have the support of the community here. Take the time you need. As Virginia Farmgirl said, when I visit and there isn’t anything ‘new’ I can always find something I haven’t seen or reread some of my favorites. When you are ready to be back daily we will all be glad – but you gotta do what you gotta do first.

electric bill just might be a tad smaller, that is as soon as it's cost is paid off…..plus maybe some credits for selling the extra watts to the Electric Company???? Just thinking!! ?????????
