"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....

I would love a set of that series… Your humor, wit and yes ( I use the term loosely) wisdom have been the ballast this less than seaworthy boat has needed this past winter.
I now cook( with less damage ) and am making cheese, and anything with rum in it!
keep going strong.

I love your blog, I read it first thing everyday.
You, your family and animals make my day, everyday.
I have been laid off since before Thanksgiving (after 16 years!)
oh well…I still LOVE TO READ. I average 3-4 books a week, your books would make a welcome addition, I love all books, but romance is at the top.
Clover and Eclipse surely will produce some offspring, with all the carrying on you are telling us about (I least I hope!!)
Made the Cheescake cookies at Christmas, my father asked for more.

On your calendar, my husband can’t look at the February picture. It was a little much for him (dog on goat) so we had to rip it out and will see Clover with her tiara for another month – LOL!
I made the crocheted rose in yellow. It turned out huge, not nice and dainty like yours. I could try a smaller hook than G. Or I was wondering if I could reduce the # of shell patterns. TBD . . .

Suzanne, now you have gone and done it! When Clover and Eclipse produce a little buckling, you will have to call him Fabio!
