We were trying out our new video camera last night when I suddenly noticed the date on the LCD screen. I said, hey, tomorrow is our anniversary! And we just cracked up because we’d both completely forgotten about it.
I can’t believe how I screwed that up. I could so totally have kept that little nugget to myself, then gotten up this morning and made a big festive event of things, then stared at him in shock–WHAT, YOU FORGOT OUR ANNIVERSARY???

When my brother and sister-in-law were approaching their 25th, I thought “no way”. It does sneak up on you. They’ve now passed their 29th and my sister and brother-in-law are coming up on their 28th end of Oct. :yes:
For me, this is a sadder anniversary: our mother died two years ago after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s. She is now reunited with my father, her parents and two of her three brothers.:heart:
