–I will never be without milk again! I’m getting ahold of this gorgeous, ornery calf TODAY.
I shall report back. If I survive.
P.S. Can I just add that she is the most beautiful creature I’ve ever seen in my life? And she’s stealing all my milk. But still– How beautiful is she????
lizzie says:
I want those eyelashes!!!! You sound like Scarlett O’Hara! so I know that you won’t go with out milk ever again! :woof:

Yes! And to think… it is all natural beauty. Still: I hear my mother saying: Pretty is, as pretty does.

You’d better be prepared that she’s going to pull all the tricks known to calfkind on you… You see, from HER point of view, you’re trying to steal HER milk :hissyfit:

I frequently tell the parents of my patients—“What’s cute when they are 2, is not cute when they are 12.” You’re smart to gain control when she’s young. I’ll be praying–and checking back. Just think, after she’s haltered it’ll be much easier to pet her!!

Johanna says:
Imagine how much fun you can have with her once you get a halter on her! You can teach her to be led around! You can take her on walks to see the other animals! Take her for a ride in the truck! She can have different dress-up halters, with rhinestones and fake flowers and all kinds of lovely things. She’s going to love being a girly calf and playing dress-up!
Good luck. Today is the start of big things.

How could Glory Bee be anything but beautiful? She does belong to BP. You are going to have the time of your life today. This may make the video of the year. You are running the camera, right?? Glory Bee will be batting those beautiful eyelashes at you. You do have the football squad on standby? Just checking.

Don’t fall for it! The soft, sweet face and the big ‘doe-eyes’ are just a ploy, she’s going to lure you in and then make her moooove!
But…..awwwwwwww, look how cute she is. I just want to hug her and pet her and……..oh, no, it’s working on me too!

She is absolutely beautiful!!! Thing is, I just went back and looked at all the pictures of her here, (and there are many! :cowsleep: ) I must say, there’s a particularly mulish look in her eye that any mother can identify. It’s perfectly obvious to see in her eyes that she’s downright determined to foil your plans and keep all of her mama’s milk for herself.
What she’s saying is, “No cheese for YOU woman!”

The fact that she’s drinking all the milk must make it frustrating when you’re trying to do a series of cheesemaking posts! I can only assume she must need it as she is a growing girl and obviously isn’t fat.
Good luck today.. may the force be with you;)

I can see the post later…a picture with Glory Bee, back side facing you, that sneer on her little cow lips, halter-less, caption reads “frankly Suzanne, I don’t give a damn!” :moo:

As soon as I saw her picture I thought to myself how beautiful she is!! I don’t think I have even seen a prettier cow. Uh… not that I have seen a lot of cows in my life, but you get the point. 😀
