I’m not even a cat lover, but those pictures evoke such a sense of love and contentment.
P.S. Even though I’m old enough to be your mother, I want to be like you when I grow up. You are an inspiration in so many ways. I look forward to your post every morning and always feel chirked up (in one way or another) after reading it. Thanks for offering optimism, common sense and love of life in each post.

I always loved having two cats around the same age…simply because they do things like lay around the house together all cuddled up!

These kittens just exude love. I had to tortoise shell cats who loved to do this an on occasion actually contorted themselves into a heart shape. I love cats, just looking at them makes ya warm a fuzzy.

We adopted an 11.5 year old male cat and a nine month old female cat a few years ago at the same shelter. We worried about their age difference, but they are lovers just like these two. I have never had cats who adored each other so much and it’s so fun to watch them cuddle like this. Yours are just adorable! You can just see them smiling in their sleep. Bliss!

The pictures are sweet. I’m not really a cat person, but cats don’t seem to care. We now have a porch cat. He showed up and adopted us. One of the dogs chase another cat off regularly, but not this one. Of course the kids love the cat, and I kind of like having a porch cat. It’s so beautiful laying on the step and it’s nice to be greeted so often. So now we have four animals. One cat inside, one cat outside, and 2 dogs in and out.

I need to show these pix to my 3 cats who don’t get along, and tell them, “This is the way it supposed to be done.” Thanks for the pix. I LOVE CATS, and will always have some with me wherever I live. I will soon take in 2 from a friend of mine – that will make 5 for me. :shimmy:

I worried about adopting just one cat when Emma came into my life 2 years ago, but her foster mom said she thought she’d do better as the only cat. This means I get all her attention and loving – sometimes more than I want! Maybe with another kitty she wouldn’t be on my keyboard all the time, getting into my stuff, etc., but I do love having her here!
Kitten and Little are precious, and they definitely belong together!!! :snuggle:

True love! Suzanne, I blogged about the sourdough starter and Grandmother bread today. The bread was so good we ate half the loaf in one meal…two hogs! Thanks for a wonderful recipe…

How sweet! I’ve had from 6 to 7 in my house and none of them do that although 2 wrestle all the time. I do have a feral cat that just loves one of the other cats and I see them cuddle all the time (even when it’s not just for warmth although that definitely helps in the winter). What is funny is that the feral cat that loves the one a few years older has a sister out there and she is a total loner – go figure.

Three weeks ago the Reno, Nevada Humane Society took in 200 cats (yes 200) from a single home, that started out as a stray colony and a compassionate woman….(not me this time) Every time you post kitty pictures, especially these two, I have to give my neighbor my car keys, so that I will NOT add two new kitties to my already 4 dog, 2 cat household. Its a sickness, thank heaven that goats, mini burrows, pigs are not readily available, I might even pick up a Georgia or two…………you provide a dangerous post…..
