A few yrs ago I worked at Williams Sonoma over the Christmas Holiday. They had these wonderful chocolate candies with crushed pretzels in them – they were SOOOOO good
I ended up recreating them as they were about $30 per box
melt chocolate of your choice (I used milk or semisweet) and stir in crushed pretzels
drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper and sprinkle with a pinch of coarse salt
let harden & peel off waxed paper
BE FORWARNED…. these are addictive

Do they look anything like this? http://www.harrylondon.com/sto…..;ItemId=19&
These are pretty good, and they make them in white chocolate as well. But making one's own is just not that difficult!

That chocolate and salt combo is interesting, to say the least. But the pretzel idea is great.
For years we have purchased pretzels in Christmas shapes (usually snowflakes, trees and bells), dipped them in chocolate, then added some Christmas sprinkles of some sort. This solves the problem of what to do with all those extra pretzels after Christmas!

Somehow adding caramel or toffee bits to the mix sounds delish.

They are "turtles" and I bought the Rolos and the pretzels but need pecan halves and then need to find the recipe/method online. I believe that it's just a pretzel twist with a Rolo melted on it and then a pecan half pressed in?
