Oat Dreams (Cookies)

So easy to make – so nice to eat!

1 stick butter (4ozs) Melted

2 ozs fine sugar

1/2 cup (4ozs) AP Flour

1 tsp baking powder

2 ozs porridge oats

Put all of the ingredients into a bowl and mix together.

Take heaped teaspoons of mixture and roll into a balls.

Place onto a greased baking pan and flatten slightly.  Leave plenty of room between as they do spread.

Bake at 350 F for approx 12-15 minutes until golden.

Put on a rack to cool.

If you want to 'fancy them up' when they cool dip in to or pour over a little melted chocolate.

If it's got tyres or testicles it's trouble.

These sound GOOOOOOOD!!  Oatmeal cookies are my favorite, and usually the only type I make.

Ever try adding some sultanas or currents or other fruit?

I did try adding some cranberrys once Pete, but I prefered them without.

Oatmeal cookies are my absolute favorite, also……..however, no one else's.  So, I either get to eat the whole batch myselft (and sometimes that's been known to happen) or I just drool over the recipe……….  I think I'm going to make these though!
