Now I'm digging around in forgotten recipes.
Don't ask me how large a large can is. I'll have to go to the store and look and then come back and fix the recipe…one of those LARGE cans…much bigger than a regular sized can of Coke…tall large? (I have to go to the grocery today…so maybe I can remember to check ounces.)
This is a really good punch recipe…great for showers…I've hosted lots of showers.

This sounds delicious!!! I always making punch for family get togethers and they love it when I come up with a different yummy one!
Is the banana baby food different than pureed bananas? Or would the pureed bananas turn color?

It has been so long since I've made it – I sort of go to the store on auto pilot…and pick up what I need. I think the bananas are pureed…they are smooth and creamy…and you just stir them in and don't see them after.
It has been a LONG time since I even looked at a jar of baby food…but I know they weren't chunky bananas.
(I'm so helpful this morning.)
Sticking pineapple juice, orange juice and banana baby food on my list of things to look at while in the grocery today.

You may be asking why I'm posting if I don't have the sizes…well, these are great recipes…and if I don't stick them up while they are in my hand, I won't do it.

I live in a small town and if I went to the grocery store and purchased babyfood there would be lots of talk going on. I think I'l mash my own banannas at home.

If it wouldn't give my parents so much trauma I would. My dad is a preacher and everybody is up in our business. If I buy any alcohol products in the Charleston area my parents know before I get home.

My brother won't buy beer in the county either…I go home and do what I please!
(I'd have made a horrible preacher's daughter…)

The 46 ounce ones? I used to make punch like this for crowds. We would freeze multiple cans of the base, put them in a bowl, pour the ginger ale over the frozen fruit juice base, then mash it with a potato masher. It turns the punch into a slush. My sister-in-law made the punch for a Tupperware party years ago. She didn't cook much. Instead of using pineapple juice — she used crushed pineapple, and couldn't figure out why my punch was so much more smooth than hers. It was good, but you had to finish the punch with a spoon to get the pineapple at the bottom of your glass.

While at the grocery, I actually remembered to look for the sizes of the ingredients used…and I've updated the recipe.
