I'm posting this one just like it was written.  It was one of our favorites growing up.  This probably goes back to the late 40's or early 50's.  My boss wanted it so I thought I'd share it.  It's very, very old.

RAISIN PIE

About 3/4 box of seedless raisins.  Cook with about 3/4 cup water and a little lemon juice until water has cooked away.  Meanwhile, cream 1/2 cup butter with 1 cup sugar.  Add 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla.  Add to raisins while they are hot.  Single crust.  Bake in slow oven about 45 minutes.

I did look up “slow oven”.  It's between 300 to 325 degrees.
