Three 12oz bags of cranberries

3 c. water

1 c. white vinegar

6 c. sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp allspice

1/2 tsp cloves

1 pouch liquid pectin

Bring cranberries, water and vinegar to a boil and simmer 10 min.  Add sugar and spices, mix well.  Place on high heat, bring to a full rolling boil for 1 min., stirring constantly.  Remove from heat and add the pectin.  Mix, skim off foam.  Stir and skim 5min to prevent floating.  ( I dont do this bec I make sure the cranberries have broken or I smash them).  Ladle into jelly jars and process in water bath.  I get 14-15 jelly jars of this.  I use this for my cranberry sauce and have for about 4 years. 

This year I added 1 tsp of orange peel spice.  You could add an orange cut up and the peel cut up too.  It is excellent on anything and a great sauce.

This sounds yummy, jane, thank you!  Will have to do this along with Suzanne's cranberries!  Mom will die and go to heaven with this in her basket of goodies!

Ohhh this sounds yammie…I love Cranberries..I'm going to try this one for sure..but has to wait untill next year.

I'm getting nervous here…so much to do and so little time.

This sure looks like a nice gift…
