Hi Mary, years ago before I used my bread machine, I used the frozen bread dough to make cinnamon rolls, just make them as you would using you own dough, fill them and after you bake them put the glaze on the top. When I make my cinnamon rolls, for the filling I use half white sugar and half brown sugar, and sometimes I use all brown sugar--but yes, you can use the frozen dough. Between the filling and the glaze, they will be plenty sweet.

OfflineI'm planning on doing mine tomorrow, so I'll let you know, but on the way home today, my husband says, isnt cinn rolls suppose to be a sweet bread? Yeah, so see, even he knows. lol I said well this time we're doing it this way, and next time we'll make it with a sweet bread. I'm going to roll out the Rhodes bread in powered sugar… I'll let you know how that goes.

OfflineWell, if I compared my regular ol' white bread recipe to a sweet dough recipe for caramel rolls or cinnamon rolls in the bread book……it's only 1 TBS. of sugar difference. Extra frosting and we never noticed! If we keep talking about these rolls, I'm just gonna have to make more! Especially now that the rolls can be put in the fridge til morning! Thank you BEG!

OfflineOk, dear, I answered you in email but will put it here in case anyone else wonders. I think the fresh dough, that you would use would be better, of course, but this frozen dough thaws out and rises in the fridge.. which it did, so I rolled it out in powdered sugar to hopefully sweeten it enough for the cinn rolls.. they are now in the oven rising the 2ed time… They smell good… I hope they will be good. If they aren't, I'm blaming you since you sent me the recipe.. haha Naw, just kidding. I appreciate you.

OfflineHaving problems with the pictures I took with my phone, coming in. One came in and I had sent them twice, so I broke out my camera and took a pic of what is left, so I can post pictures..so here they are.. They came out ok, and I would do them again. I think I added a bit too much sugar being afraid the dough wouldnt be sweet enough, but they are fine, and hit my spot! Hubby liked them too so that is good enough.
