Help.   I have made a liquid soap. it has been diluted It is clear, but jelly-like consistancy even if I add more water.  The phen… test shows faint pink.  The litmus paper shows 9.  the tongue test says ouch!!!  This is all confusing as the phen. test is supposedly (?)  the ultimate test. 

  Should I try adding a citric acid solution??  And, I do not know what my initial fat weighed as some boiled over ( took the paint right off my crock!!)  What amount would I be able to add if this is a solution.

  I am not unwilling to start over, but would really like to save this.  I have put some in a jar.  It is a bit cloudy, but still slimy thick. 

  I have just happened upon this forum looking for this solution, but am anxious to read lots.  Seems just up my alley.
