OfflineWent to the farmers market yesterday, came home and made up 8 quarts of tomatoes, 7 quarts of diced apples, and 3 quarts of applesauce. Need to get more apples for apple pie slices and apple sauce. The kids ate the homemade applesauce better than the store bought, so why not? LOL
Does anyone have a recipe for apple peel jelly? I have two gallon containers in the freezer waiting for me to find a recipe. Waste not, want not.

OfflineI did peach butter earlier today. Now I'm canning peach syrup and sweet potatoes (that I pre-cooked too long, so they will have to be mashed upon opening), and as soon as that's finished, I'm canning up the last of my apple juice.
I pureed the pulp from the peaches I juiced in the steamer, and mixed some with yogurt, saved out enough to make a couple loaves of peach quick bread, and put nine cups in the freezer.
My kitchen's a mess!

OfflineI've tried canning peach puree twice, only to find it turns brown after a little while. I never thought to add lemon juice to it. Anyway, that's what I made my peach butter from! No wasting!

Joann, could you share your peach quick bread recipe? Is it like banana bread? Sounds yummy!

Offline7 quarts of spaghetti sauce, 14 quarts of grape juice, 9 trays of grapes dehydrating and 25lbs more to process tomorrow. A co-workers brother was giving grapes away, sure glad I over heard and asked for some. 5 gallon bucket of Kraut fermenting. Need to process all my jalapeno peppers not sure if I am going to pickle them or dehydrate. Any suggestions
