I made a lot of this stuff too. You can get pretty dishes in garage sales all the time for 5 and 10 cents a plate or cup. In my tea room I used mix and match so I didnt have to worry when something got chipped I just put it away to use for this stuff. Ive done bird baths, flower pots, stepping stones, wooden boxes, a bowling ball for a gazing ball. If you can think it it can be mosaiced! Summertime is a fun time to do this kind of stuff.

I'm loving those ideas Georgia!  One year I made a toy soldier out of pots for a christmas decoration.  He's stuffed in a closet some where around here.  I like the idea of the outdoor ones tho.

Great stuff, G!  All look great, and fun to do.

Hmmm.  Maybe this week-end would be a good time to start a couple of these projects…

What cute ideas,  if it ever stops raining, maybe I will be able to get in the yard and play!

Here's a tipsy pot tower I made last week.  I used a candleholder hook that screws apart as the tower.  I am keeping it on pavement, so the piece that would normally go into the ground is anchored in the bottom pot.

Thats really neat Cindy. I like the hook to hang something from too.

I was just wondering if anyone had made any of the stacked bottles and china art yet. Anyone?

I've got the plates and vases and bottles gathered……..I cannot find that E6000 anywhere.  I'll end up buying some more……..  I read somewhere the Gorilla glue dries white, so decided not to use that.

Walmart has it in the craft dept and also in the hardware dept. Hobby lobby and all those have it too in their glue isle.

Man I heard that! When it comes down to finding something I KNOW that I have…its usually better to just to buy another one for a few bucks than to have my crazy pills refilled!
