Last week I was doing some cleaning in our outbuilding and came across some hollyhock seeds that are about 10 years old, they were sored in a plastic bag that was closed tight and stored in another container closed with a plastic lid. I am wondering if they would still be good to plant?

Fold about 10 of them in a damp paper towel, put it in a plastic bag, keep it damp, check in a few days. If they have started to sprout they are OK to plant. Good luck!
Yep yep. This method will work if the seeds are still viable. I did it with some 5 yr old beans and they sprouted!! Amazing!Most Users Ever Online: 135
