Recipes need to be posted at Farm Bell Recipes!  This isn't meant to make anyone feel bad or to "scold".

Earlier this year Suzanne spent quite a bit of money having the site, Farm Bell Recipes, built so WE would have an easier way of finding and sharing recipes amongst ourselves. 

Before FBR, we had the Community Cookbook, which is still available and there are lots of recipes that the poster hasn't moved to FBR yet.  It worked better than just having posts floating around, but a recipe site is soooo much easier to navigate.  You can still comment on any recipe in there, to bump it up if you have any questions or comments on it.

I know when we're in the midst of discussing something, it just seems easier to put our recipes in the discussion we're having.  But in a few weeks when someone wants to go back and find that recipe, it's going to take quite a while, especially if the recipe is in some topic that doesn't hint to that recipe!  I've given up sometimes looking for it and go to another site to find something similar.

Just post the recipe at Farm Bell and give the name of the recipe in the topic you're discussing.  It'll make it easier on everyone later on, I promise

Bumping this back up……. I would hope people would take advantage of a much more organized recipe site than a forum (where topics are in no logical order whatsoever) to find and request recipes.

As well as Requesting Recipes (there are many more people browsing through Farm Bell Recipes than there is here on the Forum), you can also search from the thousands of recipes already posted — by recipe name, by ingredient, or browse by category section.
