I found this link over in another recipe in the community cookbook. I figured this is the perfect place for it………some very nice cookie recipes, probably would have been great to have before Christmas!

Stumbled in here after using their recipe from the sack of masa to make tortillas.  There are some very wonderful recipes listed, for things like lime cheesecake, and all sorts of things I will never have enough time to try!

Since Suzanne posted her recipe for Orange Marmalade, several ladies are now hooked on this delictation.  You might like to read this article that explores various methods, additions variations you might like to try.

Click on, Master Class Marmalade on the left hand side.

There are lots of other recipes from other chefs in the Food and Drink Section.  Well worth a browse.

Mamafox posted this link in response to a question about making a custard mix, but it has some other mixes which some might find handy to have: http://www.justpeace.org/mixes.htm

A few of these Suzanne has already worked out, with a version which probably needs no improvement!  But there are a couple of others which show some potential.    Happy Butterfly

Cross posting this in case one of needs to find it later!  The links have some very interesting resource ideas in a topic LK started about bread making using a wood fire, a great topic all by itself.

LK Said:

I found some interesting information and videos on a site that I have been checking out a bit more lately. I love their free outdoor pizza/baking oven plans, and am hoping to have one one day. They have recipes for wood-fired baked goods, and some videos on how to shape some specialty breads. It will change over time as they strive to improve this part of their site, so that is something to keep in mind. You can "purchase" a few free ebooks on their site as well.

This is the cutest thing and looks like it has lots of good recipes.

You need to scroll down the page until you find where to click to download the cookbook. Then you can save it to your computer or just read it if you wish.

Lajoda posted this link over in the "What are you baking" topic.  Looks like a place we will want to find again!  Recipes that used to be on the back of the Bisquick box.  (For some of us it's rather difficult to think of these as vintage!  They were just part of our lives in the 60's, plus or minus a decade!!)

Pete, thanks for that link! Some of these I remember, from my Grammy's recipe box and clippings.
