Oh happy day!

Needless to say I am just over the moon!!  Pure happiness!

It cost $8.00 for a pint bag…I don't know if that is a good price or not.  It is from a hidden away natural food store I stumbled across today….behind a liqueur store…(giggle).  Sort of funny to me that a natural food store is connected by roof with a liqueur store.  I don't know why but it just tickled my funny bone.  I thought lecinthin was supposed to be a powder but when I looked at the picture that Suzanne put up it was granules!!  I am so excited.

I dragged out all the other stuff but alas…….I only have perhaps 1/2 cup of wheat gluten and 1/4 cup of powdered milk!  I STILL can't make my dad gum dough enhancer!  And another gripe about Panama City…..I am having a hard time locating wheat gluten!  Can you believe that?  I know Winn Dixie has it for $4.99 a little box.  But I want it!  So, tomorrow it off to the store for powdered milk and wheat gluten!

I'm still so hyped up about finding that lecithin though…LOL

Just divide the recipe in half!!!!!  It makes quite a bit……until you get more, no need to make a special trip!

OH absolutely!  just enough for a half recipe and that's plenty for now.  No need to add very much if using all white flour anyway.

Have you tried Walmart?  That's where I find it…….for less than $2.  It's in the same aisle as the flour…….  I really hope you can find it for less than $5!!

Our walmart used to carry it and that is where my last box came from.

For some unknown reason they have quit carrying it!  Figures…doesn't it seem like stores quit carrying the best items?

I'll mix up half a batch.  Don't know why I didn't think of that!

Perhaps the natural food store carries wheat gluten too!  and as far as the sharing the roof with the liquor store, well, there's the old 'medicinal purposes' for a drink too!  Laugh  Snake bite medicine?  LOL, ok, ok, I'll stop!
